Weather & air thermodynamics
Daily values aggregated from hourly observations. Today (enlarged final point) is still in progress. Dashed = moving average. Rain/wind chart: bars are daily rainfall totals (in), the line is average wind speed (mph), and arrows show the prevailing wind direction (the way it blows toward).

Both lines are trailing moving averages of hourly air enthalpy (BTU/lb): a 5-day (120-hour) average for the near-term trend and a 20-day (480-hour) average for the slower seasonal baseline. Crossovers mark shifts in the moisture-energy trend.
Trailing moving averages of hourly air enthalpy (BTU/lb): a 9-hour average to smooth the intraday swing against a 1-hour average (effectively the raw hourly reading). Useful for spotting short-term moisture-energy turns.
